A unique single cask bottled as part of the Whisky Magazine Special Selection range to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Whisky Magazine. One of 275 bottles, the team at Whisky Magazine acquired this Founder's Cask #75 of 2017 Arbikie Highland Rye Single Grain whisky at the Distillers One of One Charity Auction.
Arbikie, an innovative field to bottle Scottish distillery, made this single cask grain whisky using rye, wheat and barley grown on their own estate and then distilled at their craft distillery. Using Scottish Rye is extremely unusual, as is their small batch grain distillation style. Rye is naturally the star here - creating a whisky that is bold and full of flavour.
