We were amused to note that the seller of this rare bottle left the original pricelist of this Springbank in the box. Upon release the RRP of this whisky was £75, and old heads who remember will tell you that this price seemed scandalous at the time. Everyone now refers to this as the ‘Millenium’ series, but we notice that the series of 6 bottles started with this 25 year old in September 1998 and ended with the 50 year old in March 2001. Nowhere on the packaging or the flyer included does it mention the Millenium.
As you can see, the fill level of this whisky is at the shoulder, but otherwise the label and seal are in excellent nick.
