For one month of every year, Torabhaig gives their distillers free reign to create their own whisky, deciding everything including barley, yeast, fermentation length, peat, cut points and cask type. The final whiskies are then bottled for the 'Distiller's Series'.
This bottling is the first expression from Niall, which uses 5% each of Brown and Dark Crystal malt, longer fermentation time, and a higher cut point for a peated spirit of around 15ppm. It was matured in first fill bourbon and rum casks.
