Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Dried apricots, rye bread, corn cake and chilli chocolate stored in a cedarwood box. Delicate shade-grown Connecticut tobacco and apple pie topped with demerara sugar. Lastly comes sultanas, freshly cracked walnuts and cinnamon stick in a hessian sack.

Palate – Medium-full bodied. Freshly baked apple and bramble pie, with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. A big dollop of custard and a bag of raisins. Medjool dates, a touch of blood orange, and rooibos tea with honey. Gentle tannin and just a touch of cigar smoke.

Finish – Medium-long, with plenty of dried apple, sweet pie crust, black tea and honey. Sweet and spicy notes typical of American whiskey with the body and big orchard fruits of traditional single malts. Truly the world of whisky in a bottle.
