This vatting of more than 1,500 whiskies entered into the World Whiskies Awards 2024 has a final recipe containing 22 per cent bourbon and rye, 7 per cent peated single malt, 15 per cent blended Irish whiskey, 17 per cent Scotch single malt, 27 per cent Scotch blended whisky, and 12 per cent world blended whisky.

This seventh edition of the Editor’s Blend series is limited to just 195 bottles worldwide with all profits from the production donated to charity.

Tasting Notes

Official Tasting Notes

Nose – Initial burst of cherry and almond, like Bakewell pudding. Freshly baked Christmas cake with steeped fruits. Steaming black tea. All spice. Raisins. A slight hint of clementine. Drizzle of honey. Marzipan. Gentle notes of caramel.

Palate – Warm cinnamon toast with butter. Pear. Sticky toffee pudding. Crisp Granny Smith apples. Roasted marshmallows on a campfire. Smoky notes. Woody spice. After a few sips, dried plum and nectarine.

Finish – Soft and medium in length. Plum and nectarine notes linger. Followed by ground ginger and nutmeg.

Comments – A wonderfully complex blended whisky that balances fruity sweetness and spice perfectly. A warming dram fit for any desired occasion.
